Charity grew up in the church as a PK (pastor’s kid). This kind of upbringing meant that she was often being watched and evaluated by others. She turned that around and became an observer of people, and quickly discovered that people are fascinating!
She began writing her first story in middle school, using what she was learning from the world and those around her. Charity’s writing draws elements from religion and philosophy, and combines these with her own life experiences, such as social expectations, depression, and love.
